Introduction
Gaining and maintaining stable mental health is beneficial to every human on all levels.
But, to do so is quite a challenge for most people. In this article, I share some biblical principles that can help you, not only reach stable mental health but also maintain it.
Each principle is something that you can dedicate to your daily life, and which also offers an actional plan to use accordingly.
It takes a week, Sunday to Friday (or Day One to Day 6), to start implementing these principles.
Day One: Gratitude and Prayer
Begin your week by placing your worries in God’s hands. Trust that His peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind. Let gratitude fill your prayers, transforming your anxiety into a sense of calm.
Read Philippians 4:6–7,
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
